NEW Adults FLORAL CHRISTMAS WREATH MAKING - maximum 6 spaces
A 2.5 hour workshop led by Florist Jen Sayers making Christmas Wreaths. You will learn how to wrap moss around the frame and embellish the wreath with ribbons and natural accessories, such as dried chillies, fir cones, dried oranges and apples, plus willow and ivy from Pound Green Art Barns garden. You will have the option to bring along anything extra you want to add and we can spray paint elements in gold and silvers if your design wants that extra Christmas 'bling'
Jen Sayers is a trained florist who gained a distinction in a level 2 diploma from Warwickshire College. She now works as a feelance florist in the Suffolk and Norfolk area. She has spent the last 4 years creating a variety of floral installations ranging from small weddings to larger corporate events. Jen is inspired by the natural world and works mainly with British grown flowers to create informal arrangements that show off the beauty of the flowers themselves as they would be in their natural environment.
We are running 2 sessions both will be accompanied with mulled wine, tea, coffee and mince pies. Please see below for timings and bookings.
Monday Adult classes ' Still Life and drawing skills' 10.30am-12.30pm - maximum of 8 spaces
An Adult Art Class suitable for beginners and intermediate artists wanting to explore different art forms and inspirations. Small classes to allow for individual tutoring. We use Acrylic paint, observational drawing, artists studies, printing, collage, oil pastel and much more. Verity is a qualified art teacher with 16years teaching experience of all ages...please do get in touch with any questions. You can book online below. (minimum payment is for 4 weeks - if you know you are going to miss one or two sessions you can choose the 4 or 5 week option, otherwise pay for 6 weeks - please use the drop down menu under the pictures below to select)
This half of term we are going to be looking at producing a series of still life studies in a variety of media, including inks, pastels, pencils and paint. You will need to provide your own canvas for these sessions but all other materials are included. Tea, coffee and homemade cake!

Kids Classes 4-8years Fridays 3.45-4.45pm - maximum 8 spaces (parents must remain on site)
A weekly art class for 4-8 years.
The classes will enrich your child's learning through using a wide range of media to explore different art forms, from drawing and painting to clay, collage and printing.
We have a gallery area with sofas where parents can wait during the session and have tea/ coffee and biscuits, as children of this age must be accompanied by an adult.

Art Class "POP ART" for 11-16years Mondays 6pm-7.30pm - maximum 10 spaces
A fun weekly art class for 11-16years. These classes are designed to work the children through the process they would follow in a GCSE project, but in a fun environment. Starting with observational drawing, looking at artists research, then the development of ideas and a final piece. Most of the materials will be provided, unless the individual requires something specific for their final piece. This half of term we will be looking at still life and POP ART. Parents are welcome to drop off, or wait in our gallery area with tea and coffee provided.
Adults 'Rag Wreath Making' Workshops - see dates and times below (maximum of 12 spaces)
One off workshops to learn the art of 'rag wreath making'. All materials will be provided, but if you would like to bring along any scrap material you want to recycle then please do - it might be you want a particular colourway to your wreath - it can be festive or just an all year round decorative piece for your home. We can add embellishments too. Tea, coffee and homemade cake will be provided. (Evening class will have Mulled wine and mince pies)
